In the mid-90s, Cee-Lo Green was a part of Atlanta-based hip-hop rap group, Goodie Mob.

Formed in 1991 by Big Gipp, Khujo, CeeLo Green, and T-Mo, Goodie Mob released their debut album, Soul Food, which was critically acclaimed and was certified Gold by RIAA.
